How do I check in an EBSCO eBook early (using Adobe Digital Editions)?

Answer

To check in an EBSCO eBook before the check out period has expired:

  • Open Adobe Digital Editions.
  • Select Library from the menu and then select Borrowed in the left menu.

  • When you see the EBSCO eBook you would like to return, right-click the cover of the eBook to bring up the menu.  Select Return Borrowed Item.

  • A window will open asking if you are sure you want to return the book.  If you are sure, select Return and the EBSCO eBook will be checked in and removed from the Library view screen.

Note:  When the eBook is checked in (returned), it will be available for use by other library patrons.
