What happens if I don’t return my interlibrary loan item?
Answer
You will receive multiple overdue notices from sourcefinder@nku.edu. If the material is not returned, you will be charged a replacement fee and a Library Hold will be added to your account. See the following timeline for additional information:

4th overdue notice If the material is not returned 4 weeks after this email is sent, an invoice will be requested from the lending institution. |

Invoice requested You will receive a final notice once the invoice for the material is received. If it is not returned within 2 business days of receiving this email, a replacement charge and library hold will be added to your account. |
8 weeks after due date |
Bill and hold added to account Once the charge is added, it is nonrefundable. The library hold may result in inability to register for classes or graduate. |
