To use UpToDate on your computer or mobile device, you will need to create an account. Follow these steps to set up your UpToDate account:

1. Access UpToDate through the Steely Library homepage.
2. You will be prompted to create an account. Fill out all the required information, and choose a username and password that you will remember.
3. Click "Send Verification Code". Note that if you used your NKU email address to register, the email with the verification code is often caught in your quarantined messages. To release the email, go to security.microsoft.com/quarantine. 
4. Enter your verification code.

This process will complete your UpToDate registration. You can now download UpToDate on your phone or tablet, or use your account to browse the database online. In order to maintain access to the database, you will need to log in using your username and password every 90 days.
