In CINHAL, consider the following tips to focus your results:

• Use keywords or short phrases relevant to your topic.
• Click on Advanced Search (just below the search bar), to view many options to focus your results.  
• On the Advanced Search page, you have an option to retrieve articles only authored by a nurse.
• Among the advanced search options, you also may indicate whether you want to search for research related to a specific population (age, sex, etc.) or by special interest (Nursing Education, Obstetric Care, etc.)
