How do I create a permalink to a library resource?

Answer

Finding the permalink looks different in each database, but we’ll show you examples in our two most common database interfaces: EBSCO and ProQuest.

EBSCO Databases

  1. Search for the content in the EBSCO database.

  2. Once you locate the desired item, click the three horizontal dots (Tools) to the right of the title, then select Share.

  3. In the Share menu, select Create link, then click Copy to clipboard.

ProQuest Databases

  1. Search for the content in the ProQuest database.

  2. Click on the title of the desired item to open the full record.

  3. From the full record, click Copy URL, located to the right of the title. A pop-up message will confirm the URL is copied to your clipboard.
