How do I place a hold for a library item?

Answer

Placing a hold allows you to request physical library materials for pickup at Steely Library’s 3rd Floor Public Services Desk. You can place holds on items that are currently available or checked out. Note: Non-circulating items and course reserves cannot be requested through this process.

Follow these steps to place a hold:

  1. Go to the Books & Media tab on Steely Library’s website and search for the item you want to request.
