How do I add library resources to my Canvas course?
Answer
The library recommends linking to library resources, such as journal articles, e-book chapters, or streaming media, rather than uploading them directly to your Canvas course. This practice ensures copyright compliance, maintains accessibility, and helps the library track content usage accurately, supporting well-informed collection development decisions.
There are two ways to link to library resources from Canvas:
- Using a permalink:
A permalink (also known as a permanent link, persistent link, or stable link) can be added to your Canvas course just link any other link. Learn more about how to find permalinks in two of our most common database interfaces in this FAQ.
- Using the Library Resources LTI:
